This sideboard was made with European Oak.  The most stiking feature is the “coopered” front panels with continuous grain patterns running through the doors and drawer fronts. The base and the shelf each have Oak frames surrounding a panel that is veneered in Birch with an Ebony string line. The drawers are traditionally made with quarter-sawn Oak sides and Cedar of Lebanon bases. The discreet handles are routed into the tops of the doors and the bottoms of the drawers.  The finish on this cabinet is a matt hardwax oil.
